On December 18th, Wu Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, visited China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Huaneng") and held talks with Wen Shugang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Huaneng. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as deepening collaborative cooperation in the energy sector and promoting industrial upgrading. Li Qizhao, member of the Party Group and Deputy General Manager of China Huaneng, and Zhu Zhaokai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai Electric Group, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, both sides agreed that Shanghai Electric and China Huaneng are important strategic partners of each other, maintaining close cooperation in multiple fields for a long time, with a solid foundation for cooperation and significant results. Both sides discussed strengthening communication and coordination, deepening strategic synergy, and expanding cooperation space in the fields of new energy and power equipment, and reached consensus on promoting the quality and upgrading of cooperation.

Both sides expressed that they will fully leverage their respective advantages on the basis of existing cooperation achievements, further strengthen strategic docking and collaborative linkage, continuously expand cooperation areas and depth, jointly promote high-quality development in the energy field, and form a joint force in serving the national energy strategy, accelerating the construction of new energy systems and new power systems, and making greater contributions.

Jin Xiaolong, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shanghai Electric, as well as relevant functional departments and enterprise leaders from both sides, attended the meeting.
