On December 16th, Jiang Yi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Huadian Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "China Huadian"), held talks with Wu Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, and his delegation. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as deepening strategic cooperation, promoting green energy transformation, and expanding international cooperation, focusing on the in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference. Zhu Zhaokai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai Electric Group, and Wu Jingkai, Member of the Party Group and Deputy General Manager of China Huadian, attended the meeting.
As an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government, China Huadian has always kept in mind the "bigger picture of the country", resolutely implemented the national "dual carbon" strategy and the new energy security strategy, and continued to make efforts in promoting large-scale wind and solar power bases, offshore wind power, pumped storage energy, and new energy storage in the Shagehuang area. As an excellent enterprise in the domestic equipment manufacturing industry, Shanghai Electric maintains industry leadership in green and low-carbon technology, equipment manufacturing, and system integration capabilities. In this meeting, both sides strengthened strategic coordination and industrial integration, deepened cooperation in new areas such as equipment supply chain guarantee, joint application for the first set of equipment, green hydrogen ammonia alcohol, zero carbon industrial park, and new generation coal-fired power comprehensive solutions, and reached positive consensus.
The meeting also had in-depth exchanges on building a technology innovation platform, promoting coordinated development of international business, and creating demonstration projects with global influence. Both sides stated that they will fully leverage their respective advantages, fully integrate into the green development strategy, strengthen resource docking and business collaboration in the construction of the "source network load hydrogen storage" full chain capacity, the development of the Shage Desert base, and the expansion of overseas projects, and work together to make greater contributions to serving the national energy transformation strategy and guiding global energy transformation.
