On December 16, a delegation led by Wu Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, visited middling coal Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "middling coal") and held talks with Wang Shudong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of middling coal. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on deepening industrial synergy and expanding pragmatic cooperation. Zhu Zhaokai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai Electric Group, attended the meeting.

As the central energy enterprise in the whole coal industry chain, middling coal has continued to promote high-quality development in energy supply assurance, coal power transformation and upgrading, and new energy development. Shanghai Electric is a domestic provider of energy equipment manufacturing and system solutions, with complete industrial advantages in clean and efficient utilization of coal-fired power, new energy equipment, system integration, and technological innovation. During the meeting, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the cooperation direction of energy conservation, emission reduction and flexibility transformation of coal-fired power units, application of new generation coal-fired power technology, as well as wind power, photovoltaic, hydrogen energy, solar thermal and energy digitization, and reached positive consensus on promoting advanced technology demonstration and application, accelerating the landing of key projects, and exploring innovative cooperation models.

Both sides stated that they will further strengthen resource coordination and complementary advantages, continue to deepen cooperation in energy equipment, technology research and development, and project implementation, jointly create landmark projects with demonstration effects, work together to promote high-quality transformation and development of the energy industry, and contribute greater strength to serving the national energy strategy and achieving the "dual carbon" goals.
