The 9th Grinding Machine Sub Technical Committee of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Metal Cutting Machine Tools was established and the first meeting of the 9th session was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu from December 5-6, 2025. 51 people from 35 units attended the meeting. According to the approval of the National Standards Committee, the 9th Grinding Machine Technical Committee (SAC/TC22/SC5) of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Metal Cutting Machine Tools has been officially established. The committee is composed of 40 members, with Fang Xiaoyan, Vice General Manager and Technical Director of Shanghai Machine Tool Factory Co., Ltd., as the Chairman, Zhou Zheping, Vice General Manager of Zhejiang Hangji Co., Ltd., Li Weihua, Chief Engineer of Beijing Second Machine Tool Factory Co., Ltd., Zhao Xuming, Deputy General Manager of Wuxi Machine Tool Co., Ltd., and Qian Mei, Member and Secretary General of Shanghai Machine Tool Factory Co., Ltd., as the Vice Chairmen; Kong Yan serves as a member and deputy secretary-general of Xinxiang Risheng CNC Bearing Equipment Co., Ltd., and the secretariat is undertaken by Shanghai Machine Tool Factory Co., Ltd.

The conference summarized the work of the 8th Grinder Sub Technical Committee and commended exemplary individual; The 9th Grinding Machine Technical Committee Charter and Secretariat Work Rules were reviewed and approved, and the Secretariat officially appointed the 9th Consultant and Secretariat Secretary. The conference clarified that the 9th Grinding Machine Technical Committee will continue to closely focus on the goal of serving the high-quality development of industrial mother machine grinding machines, and solidly promote various standardization work.
