As the core equipment for precision processing of pipes, the operational standardization of the intersecting line cutting machine directly affects the processing quality, equipment life, and personnel safety. Due to the integration of multiple systems such as mechanical transmission, numerical control system, and cutting medium supply in the equipment, it is necessary to balance technical parameter control and safety protection during the operation process. The following outlines the key precautions for the entire operation process.
The preparation work before operation is the foundation of safe and efficient processing. Firstly, it is necessary to complete the equipment status check, focusing on checking the lubrication of the guide rail, the fastening of the transmission mechanism, and the wear status of the cutting head nozzle, to ensure that the moving parts are not stuck and the nozzle is not deformed. Secondly, workpiece pretreatment should be carried out by adjusting the clamping device according to the material and specifications of the pipe, ensuring that the workpiece is firmly positioned and the axis is aligned with the cutting reference, and avoiding cutting deviation caused by vibration during processing. At the same time, it is necessary to check the cutting medium supply system to confirm that the gas purity, pressure, or cutting fluid concentration meet the process requirements, in order to prevent the quality of the incision from being affected by medium problems. In addition, operators must wear protective equipment and check whether the ventilation and fire prevention facilities in the work area are intact.
Parameter control and process monitoring during the operation process are the core steps. The parameter settings of the CNC system need to accurately match the requirements of the workpiece. Based on the diameter, wall thickness, and material of the pipe, the cutting speed, trajectory compensation value, and perforation parameters should be preset. It is recommended to conduct trial cutting before the first processing to verify the rationality of the parameters. During the cutting process, it is necessary to observe the cutting status in real time. If there are problems such as slag hanging or inclined cutting, the adjustment parameters should be paused in a timely manner to avoid material waste caused by continuous processing. At the same time, pay attention to the operating status of the equipment, pay attention to the temperature and abnormal noise of components such as motors and pump bodies, and immediately stop the machine for troubleshooting if any abnormalities are found to prevent the fault from expanding. In addition, it is strictly prohibited to touch moving parts while the equipment is running, and it is not allowed to arbitrarily change the numerical control program or plug and unplug circuits.
The finishing work after the operation cannot be ignored either. After processing, the cutting medium supply should be turned off first, and the cutting head should be cooled before cleaning to remove residual impurities and slag from the nozzle. Perform dimensional inspection on the processed workpieces, while organizing the work site, recycling excess materials, and cleaning up waste residue. In terms of equipment maintenance, it is necessary to lubricate and maintain the guide rails and transmission components according to the regulations. Before turning off the power, check whether the equipment has been restored to its initial state and keep operation records to provide a basis for subsequent maintenance.
