iglidur ® 3D printing silk threadDescription:

Easy to install, wear-resistant filament, suitable for food contact

Iglidur I150-PF has the characteristic of wear resistance, and the material is optimized with a strong lubricant. It is easy to process, just like standard PLA and PETG filaments. Due to its high wear resistance and excellent mechanical properties (strength, stiffness, adhesion), it is a comprehensive material suitable for the vast majority of applications and 3D printers. Moreover, this material is suitable for contact with food as it not only complies with the EU10/2011 standard, but also undergoes self validation based on its application conditions in the food and packaging industry. As a widely used and comprehensive material, iglidur I150 is currently the most frequently used Eges filament. In fixed applications, the maximum temperature limit is 65 ° C and can be used for higher dynamic applications. Together with YiggsWear resistant wire adhesive, Iglidur I150 can be processed on the surface of conventional printing boards. (For example, on the surface of glass).

Applicable occasions?

  • Used for applications with medium to low surface speeds (safe speed of 0.2 meters per second, testing for higher operating speeds).

  • If you are looking for a friction optimized filament suitable for easy processing on any 3D printer.

  • If the application requires food grade materials

  • What if my 3D printer doesn't have a heating plate?

  • Even large components with a size of 1 meter can be processed and printed.

Not suitable for occasions?

  • In the long run, the temperature of the application condition is higher than 65 ° C (→iglidur I180-PF origlidur J260 orIglidur A350 is suitable for product contact
