About laser cladding

Laser cladding is a new type of surface modification technology, which involves placing selected coating materials on the surface of a coated substrate using different filler methods. After laser irradiation, a thin layer of coating material is melted simultaneously with the substrate surface and rapidly solidified to form a surface coating with extremely low dilution and metallurgical bonding with the substrate material.
