Accuracy: Due to the high processing speed used in fast wire cutting, its accuracy is relatively low. Usually, it is suitable for applications that do not require high precision dimensions and surface quality. If higher precision machining results are required, it may be necessary to choose other mechanical machining methods or use slow wire cutting.
Basic Tutorial: The following is a simple basic tutorial that introduces how to perform fast wire cutting:
Step 1: Prepare to fix the metal material to be processed on the machine tool and install the wire electrodes.
Step 2: Set parameters and select appropriate parameters such as discharge time, power, gap, and wire speed as needed. These parameters will affect the final cutting effect.
Step 3: After starting the processing equipment, make the wire move at high speed along the predetermined trajectory and maintain a constant gap with the part to be processed. By triggering micro arc discharge with high-frequency pulse current, the material is locally melted or vaporized and eliminated.
Step 4: Complete the machining according to the design requirements, repeat the cutting operation at different positions until the desired shape is achieved.
Please note that the higher speed of fast wire cutting may have a certain impact on accuracy, so compensation factors should be considered in the design and tested and adjusted in practical operation to obtain satisfactory results.
