Its core goal is to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical device use through standardized usability engineering work, provide high fidelity simulation testing conditions for "formative usability testing" and "summative usability testing", help medical device companies avoid human factors design defects, and assist third-party testing institutions in completing final product validation.
