Customized T-shaped groove ground rail
The ground rail, also known as T-shaped groove ground rail, ground beam, groove iron, foundation groove iron, cast iron ground rail, and strip platform.
The purpose of the ground rail is to design and assemble a casting beam platform based on the fixed points of the equipment, mainly used for the assembly, testing, welding, and inspection of large equipment.
Used for assembly, testing, welding, and inspection of large equipment.
The material is cast iron HT200-300.
The specifications can be determined based on the area of the customer's installation.
The installation is fixed and adjusted using anchor bolts and top screws.
Design and assemble a casting beam platform based on the fixed points of the equipment, which should be used for the assembly, implementation, welding, and inspection of large equipment.
Material: Cast iron HT200-300, with an obligatory surface hardness of HB170-240. After two manual treatments (manual annealing at 600-700 degrees and natural aging for 2-3 years), the accuracy of the product remains unchanged and the function is good.
Specification: Specific specifications can be manufactured according to the buyer's drawings or agreed upon by both parties for production and processing
The basic steps for T-slot ground rail calibration are:
Preparation before calibration
Cleaning: Clean the working surface and T-groove of the ground rail, remove any dust, oil, or other impurities that may affect measurement accuracy.
Tool preparation: Prepare the necessary calibration tools, such as level gauges, micrometers, rulers, feeler gauges, etc.
Calibration steps
Check the flatness:
Use a precision level to check the flatness of the entire ground rail surface. Place level gauges at different positions on the ground track and record readings to determine if there are any unevenness.
If slight unevenness is found, it can be fine tuned by adjusting the adjustment screw at the bottom of the ground rail; If the deviation is significant, professional maintenance may be required.
Verify straightness:
Use a ruler or laser rangefinder along the direction of the T-shaped groove to check the straightness. You can place the ruler on the T-shaped groove and use a feeler gauge to check the gap between the ruler and the ground rail to determine the straightness error.
For long-distance straightness testing, it is recommended to use a laser interferometer to obtain more accurate results.
Confirm the parallelism of the T-shaped groove:
Select a standard length T-bolt or other suitable standard component and insert it into the T-slot. Then use a dial gauge to move the standard component along the entire length of the T-slot, observe and record the changes in the dial gauge reading.
If the reading fluctuates beyond the allowable range, it indicates that there may be an issue of non parallelism between the T-shaped slots, which requires further adjustment or repair.
Angle correction:
Ensure that all vertical and horizontal planes on the track maintain the correct 90 degree angle. This can be accomplished by using angle gauges or coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
If angle deviation is found, it needs to be corrected according to the specific situation.
Final inspection and adjustment:
After completing the above inspections, conduct a comprehensive review of the status of the track again to ensure that all adjustments have achieved the expected results.
Repeat certain steps as necessary until the accuracy requirements are met.
Document Record:
Recording all calibration data and adjustment processes is crucial for future maintenance and quality traceability.
