Cast iron ground railDaily maintenance requires a combination of measures such as cleaning, rust prevention, precision maintenance, lubrication, and environmental adaptability. The specific methods are as follows:
1. Cleaning and maintenance
Daily cleaning: Clean the surface of chips, oil stains, dust, and other debris daily to avoid affecting sliding performance and accuracy. Apply anti rust oil or install protective covers in humid environments; Clean the working surface with non corrosive gasoline, wipe it with degreased cotton yarn, and keep it dry.
Deep cleaning: Regularly (such as weekly) use a vacuum cleaner to remove floating dust from the bottom rail, clean the corners with a cloth dipped in water, and then dry them with a lint free pure cotton cloth; Stubborn stains can be cleaned with stain removers, alkaline surfaces, or toothbrushes.
2. Rust prevention treatment
Basic protection: When exposed to humid environments, apply anti rust oil every 6-12 months and cover with anti rust paper; High temperature/corrosive environments require strengthened protection, such as chemical plating with black nickel, phosphating treatment, or blackening treatment.
Storage protection: When not in use for a long time, clean and apply anhydrous acidic anti rust oil, cover with moisture-proof paper and place in a dry and ventilated place, away from heat sources and corrosive substances.
3. Precision maintenance
Regular inspection: Use tools such as level gauges, micrometers, and strip bridge plates to check the straightness, parallelism, and wear of T-grooves every month (such as ground rail flatness ≤ 0.01mm/m). If any abnormalities are found, adjust or replace them in a timely manner.
Fastener inspection: Check the anchor bolts, T-slot fastening bolts, etc. every month to prevent loosening; If bolts, nuts, and other fasteners are damaged, they should be replaced in a timely manner.
Deformation repair: Minor deformations can be restored through mechanical processing such as scraping and grinding; Severe deformation requires welding reinforcement (post heat treatment to eliminate internal stress) or direct replacement.
4. Lubrication management
Guide rail system: Regularly add lubricating oil/grease (such as lithium based grease) to reduce friction; Check the sealing performance to prevent impurities from entering.
Lubricant selection: Choose the appropriate lubricant according to the frequency of use and environment. For example, high-temperature resistant grease is required in high-temperature environments, and rust proof lubricating oil is required in humid environments.
5. Environmental adaptability
Installation environment: Installed in a ventilated and dry environment, with temperature controlled within the range of 20 ± 5 ℃ to avoid severe fluctuations; Keep away from heat sources and corrosive gases/liquids.
Special environment: Strengthen rust prevention measures in humid environments; Pay attention to the impact of thermal expansion in high temperature environments and reserve expansion gaps; Corrosion resistant materials or coatings are used in corrosive environments.
6. Installation and use specifications for cast iron ground rails
Lifting requirements: Use four equally long steel wire ropes for lifting to ensure stability; The support points are firmly padded, evenly stressed, and avoid local stress concentration.
Post use processing: Clean and apply rust proof oil immediately after removing the workpiece; Cover with a dust cover when not in use for a long time and store in a dry and ventilated place.
Operating standards: Overloading is prohibited (the load should be selected based on 1.2-1.5 times the total weight of the equipment, tooling, and load); Avoid dragging the workpiece to prevent surface scratches.
7. Regular inspection and maintenance cycle
Daily inspection: visually inspect the surface cleanliness and fastener status daily; Measure straightness and parallelism weekly.
Regular weekly inspection: Conduct comprehensive accuracy verification (such as flatness and coaxiality) every 6-12 months to ensure the authenticity and traceability of parameters, and extend the service life (up to 10 years or more).
Recording and Tracking: Establish inspection records, record each inspection result and maintenance measures, analyze deformation trends, and prevent problems in advance.
