On September 30th, it was learned from the Water and Soil High tech Ecological City in Liangjiang New Area that Fanuc Robotics, a Fortune 500 company, is carrying out pile foundation construction for its Chongqing base project in Chongqing. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2019.

It is reported that the Fanuc Robot Chongqing Base project is located at the intersection of Fangzheng Avenue, Chinese Academy of Sciences Branch Road, and Yunding Road in the Water and Soil High tech Park, adjacent to the Chongqing Micro Technology Enterprise Incubation Park.

The project is operated by Chongqing Fanuc Robotics Co., Ltd., which was established with investment from Shanghai Fanuc Robotics Co., Ltd. The project plans to invest 100 million yuan and cover an area of 30 acres. It will establish the Fanuc Robot Chongqing Technology Center, mainly engaged in the production, sales, and technical services of robot systems and intelligent machine systems. It is expected to achieve an annual output value of over 200 million yuan after reaching production capacity.

The reporter learned that Fanuc Corporation of Japan is a powerful enterprise in the research, design, manufacturing, and sales of CNC systems in the world today, with its professional CNC systems accounting for 70%. We mainly produce intelligent robots for various industrial purposes such as logistics handling, machine tool loading and unloading, high-pressure jet cleaning, palletizing, material processing, assembly, spot welding, arc welding, picking, packaging, etc.

Kawasaki, Kuka ABB、 Fanuc... Four of the world's top five robot manufacturers have come to Chongqing and settled in the Water and Soil High tech Ecological City. As one of the important carriers of Chongqing's robotics industry, an industrial pattern of "industrial robots gathering, service robots and key components starting, and industrial ecology gradually improving" has been initially formed here.

After eight years of construction, the Water and Soil High tech Ecological City has basically formed a robot "one zone, six platforms" industrial ecology represented by the National Robot Testing and Evaluation Chongqing Center. Nearly 15 robot body manufacturing and system integration projects have been introduced, with a total signed investment of nearly 2 billion yuan and an expected annual output value of 3.3 billion yuan after reaching production capacity.
