On December 17th, Wu Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, visited China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Energy Engineering") and held talks with Ni Zhen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Energy Engineering Group. Both sides exchanged views on the layout of the 15th Five Year Plan, energy transformation, industrial chain coordination, and overseas market development. Zhu Zhaokai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai Electric Group, attended the meeting.

As a national team in the fields of energy, electricity, and infrastructure construction in China, China Energy Engineering Group has full industry chain advantages and resource integration capabilities in energy planning, engineering construction, and comprehensive solutions. Shanghai Electric is an excellent enterprise in the domestic equipment manufacturing industry, actively responding to the national "dual carbon" strategy and striving to create a new pattern of development in the equipment manufacturing industry chain. During the meeting, both sides reached a consensus on strengthening strategic docking and resource integration, deepening cooperation in new fields such as the construction of new power systems, smart grids, new energy storage systems, and integrated wind solar hydrogen storage.

During the meeting, both sides also exchanged ideas on promoting national major special technological breakthroughs, strengthening supply chain cooperation, and establishing overseas industrial alliances. Both sides expressed that they will fully leverage their respective advantages in equipment manufacturing and engineering general contracting, and through the coordinated development of "going global together", jointly enhance the international market, work together to create more high-quality demonstration projects, and make greater contributions to building a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new energy system in China.
