The transmission chain of a dual station horizontal machining center is mainly composed of components such as a motor, coupling, lead screw, nut, guide rail, etc. Its function is to convert the rotational motion of the motor into linear motion of the worktable or tool, in order to achieve precise machining positioning. During long-term operation, various faults may occur in the transmission chain due to mechanical wear, fatigue, poor lubrication, and other reasons, such as increased reverse clearance caused by wear of screw nut pairs, decreased motion accuracy caused by wear of guide rails, and unstable transmission caused by loose couplings.
Common detection methods for transmission chain faults include observation, measurement, and vibration analysis. The observation method mainly involves visually observing the appearance of each component of the transmission chain, such as whether there are any abnormal phenomena such as wear, deformation, cracks, etc; The measurement method uses measuring tools to measure the dimensions, positional accuracy, etc. of key parts, compares them with standard values, and determines whether there is a fault; Vibration analysis method is to collect vibration signals during the operation of the transmission chain, analyze their frequency, amplitude and other characteristics, and identify the type and location of faults. For example, when the screw nut pair is worn, abnormal components of specific frequencies will appear in the vibration signal, and the fault can be determined through spectral analysis.
After determining the fault, corresponding repair techniques should be adopted according to the specific situation. For the wear of screw nut pairs, if the degree of wear is relatively light, it can be repaired by adjusting the pre tightening force, replacing the ball bearings, and other methods; If the wear is severe, a new screw nut pair needs to be replaced. The wear of the guide rail can be repaired by scraping, grinding and other methods to restore its accuracy. For loose couplings, bolts should be tightened in a timely manner, and the concentricity of the coupling should be checked. If necessary, adjustments or replacements should be made.
In order to improve the reliability and stability of the transmission chain of the dual station horizontal machining center, it is also crucial to prevent the occurrence of faults. In daily maintenance, it is necessary to regularly lubricate the transmission chain to ensure that all components are in good lubrication condition; Regularly check the connection of each component to ensure there is no looseness; At the same time, arrange processing tasks reasonably to avoid overload operation.
