The 10th Third Council Meeting of the Rolling Function Parts Branch of China Machine Tool and Tool Industry Association was successfully held in Chengdu from October 28th to 30th, 2025. This conference is jointly organized by the Metal Processing Magazine of the Machinery Industry Information Research Institute and Chengdu Xinchengliang Tools Co., Ltd. The conference, with the theme of "Smart Future · Rolling New Ecology", gathered nearly 130 industry association leaders, industry experts, university scholars, and member enterprise representatives to jointly explore the new technologies, trends, and development paths of rolling functional components under the wave of digitization. Analysis of Industry Status and Future Prospects

Yu Jianxun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Branch of Shaanxi Hanjiang Machine Tool Co., Ltd., presented the Branch's "Work Report" from four aspects. Analyzed the development of the industry: According to incomplete statistics, the total operating revenue of member units of the Rolling Component Association in 2024 is about 7.2 billion yuan, and the rolling functional component industry will show a slight growth trend in 2025. With strong support from national special projects, the manufacturing level of the rolling functional components industry has significantly improved, and an innovation system has been initially established. New energy vehicles, humanoid robots, and the low altitude economy have become important forces driving the demand for rolling functional components.

In addition, Chairman Yu gave a comprehensive introduction to the main work of the branch in 2024, the main gaps that exist, and the key work for the future. The branch will continue to build a resource sharing platform, promote the development concept of win-win cooperation, curb industry competition, and strengthen industry self-discipline.

At the certificate ceremony for new members, the secretary general of the branch introduced to Shouqian the 11 newly joined units from the second half of 2024 to the first half of 2025. Guo Changcheng, Vice President of China Machine Tool Industry Association, fully affirmed the work of the branch, and in recent years, member enterprises have gradually developed and grown. He encouraged all enterprises to continue to follow the path of domestic substitution in the field of screw and guide rail subdivision. President Guo, combined with detailed data, deeply interpreted the operating situation and import and export situation of the machine tool industry, and analyzed the industrial changes from the "underlying logic" level, providing important reference for enterprise strategic decision-making.

President Guo pointed out that the operation of China's machine tool industry this year presents five characteristics: the overall operation continues to recover, and there is differentiation in operation between different industries; The continuous decline in profits in some industries has constrained the healthy development of the industry; The host industry is showing good growth and improving efficiency; The operation of cutting tools and mainframe in different industries shows different signs; The activity of foreign trade has further increased, with both imports and exports showing growth.

The afternoon special report session was chaired by Zhao Meiling, Vice Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Branch of Guangdong Kate Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. Chengdu Xinchengliang has produced a report on the application technology of high-speed machining of rolling functional components, proposing a series of system solutions to improve product accuracy, retention, and reliability from both market and research and development perspectives. Professor Gao Feng from Xi'an University of Technology gave a lecture titled "Modeling and Compensation Technology for Thermal Errors in Machine Tool Feed Systems". From theoretical methods to intelligent compensation strategies, he systematically explained how digital intelligence technology can empower the improvement of machine tool accuracy, injecting academic depth and engineering wisdom into the "rolling new ecology".

Professor Feng Hutian from Nanjing University of Science and Technology presided over the roundtable forum, which brought the conference to a climax. The interview topic was "Breaking the deadlock, integration, and qualitative change: the path towards high-quality development of machine tool functional components in the 15th Five Year Plan".
