PART 01

One clamping completion, achieving multi-faceted processing

This is the most crucial and important role of the side milling head.

Traditional method: When processing multiple sides of a part, multiple re clamping and alignment are required. Not only is the efficiency low, but every clamping also introduces errors, affecting the machining accuracy.

Using side milling head: The workpiece only needs to be clamped on the workbench once. By installing the side milling head, the machine tool can directly perform milling, drilling, tapping and other operations on the side and end faces of the workpiece. The key to improving efficiency and accuracy is to complete five sided machining in one clamping process (except for the bottom surface).

PART 02

Processing areas that cannot be reached by ordinary spindles

For some large, complex, or internally structurally special workpieces, the spindle and tool cannot reach the position that needs to be machined from directly above.

Like a large box: holes or slots on the side walls, ribs, or plates inside the box.

Mold cavity: precision machining of the side walls of deep cavity molds.

Long shaped workpiece: Processing is performed on the end face of a long beam.

Engine cylinder block: oil passage holes, screw holes, etc. on the side of the cylinder block.
