Project Overview
In June 2023, the cooperation between the two parties reached a new milestone - the 450000 tons/year nylon-6 polymerization project officially started construction. This project is listed as a key construction project in Hunan Province, a demonstration project for investment attraction in Yueyang City, and an extension and expansion project of the petrochemical industry chain. The total investment is 1.8 billion yuan, and the expected annual production capacity of the first phase of the project is 300000 tons. It is of great significance for the chain addition, supplementation, and strengthening of Yueyang's petrochemical industry.
Baili Strength
As one of the few construction engineering design companies in China that has simultaneously mastered the engineering design technology of producing caprolactam using toluene method, hydroxylamine phosphate method (HPO), and aminooximation method, and has engineering performance, Baili Technology has demonstrated strong strength in project design and implementation in the three major synthetic material fields of the petrochemical industry. As early as October 2023, the 600000 ton per year caprolactam industrial chain project designed by Baili Technology was successfully launched in one go throughout the entire process. As a "dual point" project between Sinopec and Hunan Province, this project was a large-scale industrial caprolactam industry chain project at that time in China.
The 450000 tons/year nylon 6 polymerization project of Yuehua New Materials is backed by the raw material base of Sinopec. The natural geographical advantage of being separated from the raw material base by only one wall, with short raw material transportation distance and high purity, further assists the project in achieving the uniformity of PA6 slice molecular structure.
Project achievements
In February 2025, Yuehua New Materials officially launched a 300000 ton PA6 extinction chip project, with a tested AA rate of over 98.5% and dyeing rate of over 99.6% for 16 spinning heads, delivering a breakthrough answer for downstream spinning customers. At the Yueyang City Investment Promotion Work Conference at the beginning of the year, Zhang Lifen, the chairman of Yuehua New Materials, highly praised this project: "From investment negotiations, household registration and certification, to completion and material feeding, it only took more than a year to create a miracle in the nylon industry's nylon-6 polymerization project at the fastest speed
